1. Heard.
2. This is an application filed under Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure for grant of regular bail to the applicants, who have been arrested in connection with Crime No.119/2018
registered at Police Station Kota Outpost Belgahna, District Bilaspur (CG) for the offence punishable under Sections 148, 333, 307, 325, 397, 149 of the IPC.
3. The applicants have allegedly attacked the Police team, who had reached the village to serve summons on the accused persons. The policemen, who sustained injuries, have suffered swelling, abrasions and other simple injuries caused by means of club.
4. Learned counsel for the State would oppose the bail application.
5. Considering that the applicants are in jail sine 22.3.2018 i.e for about more than 2 1⁄2 years , this Court is inclined to release the applicants on regular bail.
6. Accordingly, the bail application is allowed and the applicants are directed to be released on bail on each of them furnishing a personal bond for a sum of Rs.50,000/- with one surety each in the like amount to the satisfaction of the trial Court. They are directed to appear before the trial Court on each and every date given by the said Court.
