1. The present review petition has been filed seeking recall of the order dated 19.06.2018, passed in WPS No. 2791/2013, whereby the counsel for the petitioner has pointed out certain errors apparent on the face of record to the extent that in the order this Court has observed that the petitioner had not been interviewed, whereas the facts remain that the petitioner was subjected to interview and thereafter his name was removed from the select list.

2. At the same time the counsel for the petitioner also drew the attention to the Court that the claim of the petitioner was for appointment on the

post of Sub-Inspector and not as mentioned in the writ petition as an Assistant Sub-Inspector.

3. Taking into consideration these two primary defaults/defects in the order firstly on the part of this Court while observing that he has not been interviewed and secondly on the part of the petitioner in not mentioning the post on which he was claiming appointment, this Court is of the opinion that prima facie strong case has been made out by the petitioner for review of the order dated 19.06.2018. The Review petition accordingly allowed, the order dated 19.06.2018 stands recalled to its original number.

4. Let the writ petition now be listed for further hearing in the week commencing 23rd of July, 2018.
