1. Proceedings of this matter have been taken up through video conferencing.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner's application for grant of parole/leave has been rejected by the District Magistrate, Raigarh, vide impugned order dated 30.06.2020 (Annexure P/1).

3. Dr. Veena Nair, learned State counsel, submits that petitioner's application will be decided afresh within ten days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. Be that as it may, the impugned order is set aside in view of the statement made by learned State counsel and the concerned District Magistrate, Raigarh is directed to decide petitioner's application in accordance with law within 10 days from the date of receipt of the copy of this order.

5. With the aforesaid direction/observation the present writ petition stands disposed off.
