1. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner when passed Class 10th initially his name was recorded as Mohammad Bhai, subsequently his name was changed to Mohammad Huzair. Since the name of the petitioner who is represented through guardian has been changed as Mohammad Huzair; therefore, the name may be accordingly corrected in the mark sheet of Class 10th of Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education, Raipur. He submits that the respondent is not accepting any application, therefore, the liberty may be given to the petitioner to make a representation with all the documents so that proper order may be passed.

2. Learned counsel for the respondent submits that the name are changed according to the prevailing rules.

3. Be that as it may, without commenting on the merits, the petitioner only sought for representation with all the documents before the authority, in such case, the petitioner shall be at liberty to make a representation with all the documents before the concerned officer of the respondent within a further period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Thereafter, after receipt of such representation, the respondent may decide the same accordingly to the prevailing rules which governs for the change of name.
