The petitioner herein calls in question the order dated 23.05.2014 (Annexure-P/3) passed by the respondent No.3, whereby the petitioner has
been transferred from Janpad Panchayat, Navagarh to Tahsil Office, Berla.

By interim order dated 30.06.2014 passed by this Court, the status-quo with regard to the petitioner's present posting was maintained, meaning thereby the petitioner was allowed to work at the Janpad Panchayat, Navagarh.

Since on the strength of the interim order dated 30.06.2014, the petitioner has already worked for a very long period i.e. for more than 7 years, the impugned order dated 23.05.2014 (Annexure-P/3) is hereby quashed. However, the respondent No.3 is at liberty to pass a fresh order based on the administrative exigency.
