1. The limited relief that petitioner seeks through the present writ petition is for appropriate direction to the respondents for grant of pay scale of 12002040 that is the pay scale for Laboratory Technician w.e.f. 01.04.1986.

2. The claim of the petitioner is based upon the benefits being extended to identically if not to similarly placed persons in the department. The claim of the petitioner also is on the basis of order passed by this Court in WPS 2604/2004 decided on 07.04.2005.

Counsel for the petitioner submits that as of now the writ petition may be disposed of permitting the petitioner to approach the respondents by way of a detailed representation supported with all relevant records and authorities may kindly consider the same and decide it in terms of the similar benefits being granted to similarly placed persons in the department.

4. The limited relief sought for by the petitioner is not opposed by the State counsel.

Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of directing the petitioner to prefer a detailed representation to the respondent no.2 to 4 supported with all relevant records and respondent no.2 to 4 in turn shall duly consider the same in accordance with rules and regulations governing the field and also considering the fact that the similar benefits being granted to similarly placed persons as claimed by the petitioner at the earliest preferably within a period of four months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 6.

With the aforesaid observations, the present writ petition stands disposed off.
