1. The relief sought for by the petitioner in the present writ petition is for an appropriate direction to respondent no.4 to consider the case of the petitioner for regularization in terms of the circular dated

05.03.2008.

2. According to the petitioner, he was initially appointed way back on 01.08.1988 as a Pump Operator and still continues to work with the respondents on the said post. According to the petitioner, he has by now put about 31 years of service with the respondents and as per the circular of the State Govt. dated 05.03.2008, he ought to have been considered for regularization.

3. Given the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is of the opinion that ends of justice would meet if the respondents 2 & 4 are directed to consider the case of the petitioner for regularization in terms of the circular dated 05.03.2008 at the earliest. It is expected that the respondents 2 & 4 shall take a decision within a period of 4 months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
