Admitted position is that the appellant, who was a Constable, voluntarily decided to resign from service and he tendered his resignation way back in the year 2010. His request was acted upon and accepted. 2.

After almost six years, the appellant filed an application seeking from the respondent authorities to withdraw his resignation and he be restored into service.

Since the master and servant relationship came to an end on the basis of acceptance of resignation and the appellant did not raise any objection against such acceptance, it is too late in the day for him to have a second thought on the issue.

Learned Single Judge has rightly dismissed the writ petition. There is no substance in the writ appeal in absence of any law which would support such a prayer.

Accordingly, the writ appeal is dismissed.
