Ignoring the defaults pointed out by the Office in the present Writ Petition, the matter was finally heard at admission stage itself with the consent of learned Counsels for the parties.

The limited grievance of Petitioner in the present Writ Petition is the non-implementation of the benefits of revised pay scale given to him on completing of eight years of service.

Learned Counsel for Petitioner submits that the Respondents have taken a decision for granting the revised pay scale to Petitioner, however, the same has not been implemented. Learned Counsel for Petitioner in this regard refers to Annexure P-1, dated 20.9.2018, whereby it has been decided to grant the benefits to Petitioner but though more than two years have passed, till date it has not been given effect to.

Given the limited grievance that Petitioner has, the present Writ Petition at this juncture is disposed of directing the Respondents No.1 & 2 to take a decision in respect of implementation of the decision already taken, at the earliest, preferably within a period of 90 days from the date of receipt of copy of this Order.
