It is stated that even though order passed by this Court on 22.04.2016 directing respondent No.3 to take appropriate steps for payment of compensation and compensation has been computed vide its memo dated 17.05.2016, compensation has not been released in favour of the petitioner and no cheque has been issued.

Considering the aforesaid development, at this stage, no case is made out to initiate the contempt proceeding. Let the respondents take appropriate steps as directed earlier. If the amount of compensation is not released by issuance of cheque within a period of 30 days from the date of receipt of a copy of order which is now being passed, this Court may be constrained to initiate contempt proceeding against the respondents.

The petition is accordingly disposed off.
