Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that notice was issued to the petitioner on 22.07.2016 (Annexure - P/1) under Section 37(1) of the Chhattisgarh Nagar Tatha Gram Nivesh (Sanshodhan) Adhiniyam, 2010 for removal of illegal construction whereas his application under Section 37(3) of the Chhattisgarh Nagar Tatha Gram Nivesh Adhiniyam, 1973 (for brevity, 'Act of 1973') is pending consideration before respondent authority. 2.

I have heard learned counsel for the petitioner. 3.

Be that as it may, the respondent No. 2 - Director, Town and Country Planning, Raipur is directed to consider and dispose of the petitioner's application filed under Section 37(3) of the Act of 1973 expeditiously, preferably within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. However, the petitioner would be at liberty to approach the Court if

any adverse order is passed against him.

With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition is disposed of. No order as to cost(s).
