The transfer order is under challenge on the ground that though the petitioner has been elected/nominated as officer bearer-Secretary of the District Level Employees Union, he is being subjected to transfer, even though, he has not completed three years of posting at the present place. 3.
Submission of learned counsel for the petitioner is that as per the policy of the respondent-government, the office bearer is exempted from transfer for a period of three years.

Considering the aforesaid submission, particularly that the petitioner is elected/nominated office bearer-Secretary of the District Level Employees Union and further that he has not completed three years of posting at the present place, the
respondent No.2/Collector shall consider the representation of the petitioner in the light of policy of the government and take decision thereon within a period of four weeks. For a period of four weeks, no coercive steps shall be taken against the petitioner. 5.
