1. The claim of petitioner in the present writ petition is for a suitable direction to the respondents to appoint the petitioner as a Guest Lecturer in Botany subject.

2. According to petitioner, she was already appointed as a Guest Lecturer in academic session 2017-18 for Botany subject. Thereafter the services of petitioner got discontinued. According to petitioner, now in the academic session 2021-22, the post of Guest Lecturer for Botany subject is again lying vacant for which she has already made a representation for her to be considered.

3. Considering the fact that there is a break in service from 2018

onwards, this Court as such cannot issue a particular direction to the respondents to appoint the petitioner as a Guest Lecturer for Botany subject.

4. However, in case the petitioner has already made any representation to the respondents to consider her case in the light of her past experience of academic session 2017-18, the authorities would be at liberty to take an appropriate decision on the said representation on its own merits at the earliest.
