Taking into consideration the statement of Praveen Dewangan before the Court below, this Court is of the opinion that a strong case has been made out for grant of leave to appeal against the judgment of acquittal passed by the Judicial Magistrate, First Class, Bilaspur in Complaint Case No. 1291/2014 dated 09.09.2016 for the offence punishable under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instrument Act. The Registry is directed to register the present Cr.M.P. as acquittal appeal.

The Acquittal Appeal is also admitted for hearing. Let notice be issued to Respondent No.1 on payment of process fee as per rules.
