The applicant has preferred this first bail application for grant of anticipatory bail, as he apprehends his arrest in connection with Crime No.102/2020, registered at Police Station Jaijaipur, District Janjgir-Champa (CG), for offence punishable under Sections 457, 354 & 506 of the Indian Penal Code.

Applicant has allegedly outraged the modesty of 18 years of old girl during midnight on 1st August, 2020. 3.

Learned counsel for the State would read over the statement of the prosecutrix recorded under Section 164 of the Cr.P.C.

Considering the material available in the record, this Court is not inclined to extend the benefit of Section 438 of the Cr.P.C. to the applicant.

Accordingly, the bail application is rejected. In the event of surrender and moves the regular bail application by the applicant, the jurisdictional Court shall consider and decide the same expeditiously.
