1. The present petition has been preferred seeking for a limited direction to the respondents to consider the case of the petitioner for release of GPF amount as she has retired from service on superannuation w.e.f. 31.08.2015.
2. Learned counsel for the State submits that the State has already processed the case of the petitioner and have forwarded the same to the office of Accountant General, Chhattisgarh as early as on 16.12.2015 (Annexure P/1).
3. In view of submission made by the State as also on perusal of letter dated 16.12.2015, this court is of the opinion that ends of justice would meet if this petition is disposed of at this juncture with a direction to the respondent No.2-Accountant General, Chhattisgarh, to process the
case of the petitioner and take an appropriate decision within a period of 90 days from the date of placing of this order before it. In case if the respondent No.2 finds it difficult in releasing the GPF amount, the same may be intimated to the petitioner in writing so as to know as to on what ground she is not entitled for GPF amount.
4. With the aforesaid observations, the petition stands disposed of. No order asto costs.
