(1) This is the second bail application filed under Section 439 of the Cr.P.C. for grant of regular bail to the applicant, who has been arrested in connection with Crime No.452/2014 registered at Police Station Supela, Bhilai, District Durg, for the offence punishable under Sections 363, 366(A), 370, 370(A), 376 of the I.P.C. and Section 3/4 of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012. (2) The applicant's first bail application was dismissed on merits by order of this Court dated 05.01.2015 passed in M.Cr.C. No. 6333/2014.
(3) After hearing learned counsel for the parties and taking into consideration the nature and gravity of the offence and the statement of the prosecution witnesses, I am not inclined to release the applicant on bail. Therefore, the second bail application is rejected. However, the trial Court is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same expeditiously.
