1. The petitioner has filed the present petition under Section 482 of the Cr.P.C. for quashing of Criminal proceedings pending against the petitioner in Criminal Case No. 2272/2016 (Earlier the case No. was 1658/16) before the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Bemetara (C.G.) for the offence punishable under Section 294, 506-B of Indian Penal Code.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that three witnesses have already been examined and six witnesses are still to be examined by the prosecution.

3. Since the matter is pending from 2016 and the charges have already framed on 22.06.2017, therefore, it is directed that learned District Magistrate First Class, Bemetara should made an endavour to

complete the trial within an outer limit of six months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

With the aforesaid observation/direction, the present CRMP is disposed of.
