1. The limited grievance which the petitioner has raised in the present writ petition is that though the petitioner has retired w.e.f. 31.01.2019, the Department till date has not settled his retiral dues.
2. On a query being put to the counsel for the petitioner, he submits that as per the instructions that he has received, there is no departmental enquiry pending against the petitioner, neither is he being subjected to any criminal case.
3. Given the aforesaid facts, this Court is of the opinion that no fruitful purpose would be served in keeping the petition pending, rather ends of justice would meet if the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to immediately process the claim of the petitioner, so far as release of the
-2retiral dues are concerned and the same be finalized at the earliest preferably within a period of 3 months from the date of receipt of the copy of this order.
4. With the aforesaid observations, the present writ petition stands disposed off.
