1. The challenge in the present writ petition is to the order of suspension dated 20.06.2019 whereby the services of the petitioner have been placed under suspension.

2. Since the suspension has been issued under Rule 9 (1) (a) of the Chhattisgarh Civil Services (Classification, Control & Appeal) Rules, 1966, this Court finds that there is an appeal under Rule-23 provided

against the said order. Reserving the right of the petitioner to prefer an appeal against the impugned order of suspension, the present writ petition in its present form stands disposed of.

3. Subject to the petitioner filing an appeal promptly, the appellate authority is expected to decide the same within the time prescribed under the rules.
