Judgment on Board Per Deepak Gupta, Chief Justice 18/10/2016 1.

This appeal is directed against the judgment dated 31.8.2016 delivered by the Learned Single Judge of this Court in Writ Petition (S) No.4244 of 2016 whereby the petition filed by the writ Petitioner challenging his transfer has been dismissed.

This is second round of litigation. In the earlier round, keeping in view the fact that the Petitioner had alleged that he is suffering from heard ailment, the Learned Single Judge had directed that the bank should consider the representation of the Petitioner. The representation was not considered favorably

and it was rejected leading to the second round of litigation. 3.

The Learned Single Judge has found that the Petitioner is working in Gramin Bank and obviously has to serve in rural area. His place of posting is only 70 Kms. from Baloda Bazar and 140 Kms. from his present place of posting. The Learned Single Judge has rightly held that no interference is called for in the order of transfer.
