1. The challenge in the present writ petition was to the order dated 29.08.2017, whereby the earlier order of transfer dated 21.08.2017 stood cancelled.

2. The petition is pending consideration before this Court since 2017. The application for interim relief had been rejected by this Court at the first instance itself.

3. During the course of the arguments, counsel for the petitioner fairly submits that by virtue of the impugned order, on the petitioner's transfer order being cancelled, she has joined her original place of posting, as it stood prior to 21.08.2017.

4. In view of the fact that the petitioner never had an interim order in her favour and had also complied with the impugned order, nothing further

remains in the present petition for adjudication and the issue left is only of academic interest.
