1. Heard.

2. Grievance of the petitioner is that though the petitioner had moved an application dated 20.08.2016 before respondent No.2 for grant of permanent stage carriage permit on the route Bira to Ambikapur via Gersa, Raikala, Urdara, Chhiropara, Lundra, Kargidih, Khalpodi, Kundi, Aara, Chovapara, Bada Bariyo with two return trips daily, the application has remained pending without any decision.

3. Learned counsel for the State submits that the petitioner has come out with a stale claim.

4. Be that as it may, if the petitioner had moved such application, it should have been decided one way or the other, if it is not being done by now, the authority should be directed to decide the matter within a period of 60 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
