1. The limited grievance raised by the petitioner in this petition is the inaction on the part of the respondents in not considering the claim of the petitioner for promotion to the post of Head Constable from the post of Constable in terms of the eligibility list published as early as on 16.05.2018.
2. The counsel for the petitioner submits that the claim of the petitioner is pending before the office of respondent No.2 and therefore the present writ petition as of now be disposed of directing the respondents to take appropriate decision in accordance with rules and also relying upon the eligibility list published on 16.05.2018.
3. Given the limited disputed that the petitioner has, the writ petition stands disposed of directing the respondent No.2 to take appropriate decision in accordance with rules governing the field and also relying upon the eligibility list published on 16.05.2018 within a period of sixty days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
