2. The petitioner has filed this writ petition to direct respondent authorities to cancel the promotion orders of respondents No.5 & 6 and to consider his claim for promotion from the post of A.G.-III

to A.G.-II.

3. The petitioner is working as A.G-III in the department of Municipal Corporation, Raigarh, District Raigarh.

4. Counsel for the petitioner would submit that this writ petition may be disposed of by giving direction to respondent No.3 to consider and decide his pending representation, filed on 18.05.2018 (Annexure P/9) within stipulated time.

5. Looking to the facts and circumstances of the case and submission made by the counsel for the petitioner, the instant writ petition is disposed of with this direction that respondent No.3 shall consider and decide the petitioner's representation dated 18.05.2018 (Annexure P/9) expeditiously preferably within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order, according to law and procedure.

6. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case.
