(2) Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that respondent No.3 i.e. Inspector General of Police, Bastar Zone, Jagdalpur has recommended to the respondent No.4 i.e. Additional Director General of Police, Chhattisgarh Arms Force, Raipur to promote to the petitioner
on the post of Head Constable under Regulation 70 (A) of Chhattisgarh Police Regulations Act, but no decision has been taken by the said authority till this date.
(3) In view of above, respondent No.-4 i.e. Additional Director General of Police, Chhattisgarh Arms Force, Raipur is directed to consider and take a decision on the case of the petitioner in accordance with law preferably within a period of two months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
(4) With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition stands finally disposed of. No order as to cost(s).
