The order under challenge has been passed by the Taxation Officer-cum-District Transport Officer, Raigarh directing the petitioner to pay tax of Rs.3,84,480/- with penalty of Rs.3,79,385/- and interest to the tune of Rs.65,604/-.

The order is appeallable/revisable before the Appellate Authority under the Chhattisgarh Motor Vehicle Adhiniyam, 1991 and the Rules framed thereunder. The petitioner may avail the alternate remedy within a period of 30 days from today.
