Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is working as Eye Specialist and he is entitled for Senior Selection Grade but it has been withheld with no reason, though the petitioner has submitted property details and other relevant documents and that has been forwarded to respondent No.3/Director, Health Services.

Be that as it may, respondents No.1 to 3 are directed

to consider the case of the petitioner for grant of Senior Selection Grade and take a decision within 45 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order along with additional representation, if any, in accordance with law on its own merit. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on merits of the case.
