1. Heard.

2. This is the second application filed under Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure for grant of regular bail to the applicant, who has been arrested in connection with Crime No.142/2020 registered at Police Station Bagbahara, District Mahasamund (CG) for the offence punishable under Section 20(B) of the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substance Act.

3. The first application was dismissed on merits vide order dated 20.1.2021 passed in MCRC No.7631/2020.

4. Since the applicant was found in illicit possession of 50 kg of Ganja, the earlier bail application has been dismissed on merits.

5. Except for the fact that more than 6 months have expired since after rejection of the first bail application, there is no change in the circumstances.

6. Considering the quantity of contraband recovered from the applicant, I am not inclined to take any different view in the matter.
