Hon'ble Shri Justice P. Sam Koshy Order on Board 08/07/2019
-21. The challenge in the present writ petition is to the order passed by the respondents in granting appointment to respondent no.5 as Secretary Panchayat, Zila Panchayat, Narayanpur.
2. The contention of the counsel for the petitioner is that immediately after the order of appointment dated 23.02.2018 issued in favour of respondent no.5 the petitioner had moved an objection/representation before the respondents 2 to 4. Though it is over one year from the date the representation was filed yet the respondents till date have not taken a decision on the objection/representation made by the petitioner.
3. Given the limited grievance that the petitioner has, this Court is of the opinion that ends of justice would meet if the respondents 2 to 4 are directed to take a decision on the objection/representation that the petitioner has filed against the appointment of respondent no.5. Let the respondents 2 to 4 take an appropriate decision at the earliest preferably within a period of 4 months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. It shall be the responsibility of the petitioner to apprise the respondents 2 to 4 so far as the order passed by this Court is concerned.
4. The writ petition accordingly stands disposed of. Sd/- (P. Sam Koshy) Judge Khatai
