The applicant is apprehending his arrest in connection with Crime No.288/2015 registered at Police Station- Masturi, District-Bilaspur (C.G.) for alleged commission of offence under Section 4,6, 10 of Chhattisgarh Agriculture Cattle Preservation Act, 2004 and Section 3 & 11 of Prevention of Animals from Cruelty Act. 2.

Case of the prosecution is that large number of agriculture cattle were kept in a close premises by the applicant for being sold for the purposes of slaughtering. 3.

Learned counsel for the applicant submits that the cattle belongs to his brother, who purchased the cattle from the cattle market and it was kept in his house only for being transported to his brother's house.

Learned counsel for the State submits that the applicant is habitual offender involved in sale of agriculture cattle for slaughter. Earlier also, the case has already been registered. There is a close premise with constructed boundary wall, wherein, 36 agriculture cattles were kept.

Considering the aforesaid circumstances, no case for grant of anticipatory bail is made out. The bail application is rejected.
