The present petition has been filed aggrieved of the action on the part of the respondents in not releasing the yearly increment that the petitioners are entitled for subsequent to their regularization in service under the respondents.

According to the petitioners, they were initially appointed on probation vide order dated 04.12.2014 and subsequently the services of the petitioners were confirmed vide order dated 04.11.2016. However, the petitioners have till date not been granted the benefit of annual increment. The petitioners submit that they have already approached

the respondents by way of representation dated 26.07.2021 which too till date has not been decided.

Given the limited grievance that the petitioners have, the writ petition at this juncture stands disposed of directing the respondents No. 2 & 3 to take an appropriate decision on the claim of the petitioners for grant of yearly increment in accordance with the service Rules governing the field from the date they were actually entitled for the same. The petitioner in addition to any representation that they have made in the past should also would be entitled for making a fresh representation, which upon being made, the respondent authorities shall consider and decide on its own merits in accordance with law at the earliest preferably within a period of 90 days from the date of receipt of the copy of this order.

With the aforesaid observations, the present writ petition stands disposed of.
