Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that against the acquisition of his land compensation has been determined by the respondent authority by passing an award on 24.12.2014 but it has not been paid to the petitioner till date.

Be that as it may, the petitioner would be at liberty to make representation before the Land Acquisition Officer for grant of compensation who, in turn, shall consider the petitioner's representation and proceed further in accordance with law expeditiously. 3.

With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition stands finally disposed of. No order as to cost(s).
