The apprehension of Petitioners in the present Writ Petition is that in the light of the Order passed by this Court on 19.7.2021 in W.P.(S) No.3692/2021, they may be left out in the course of Respondents initiating promotion process for filling up the posts of Deputy Registrar from among the posts of Assistant Registrar.

The averments and contentions made by Petitioners are all apprehension. This Court while disposing of W.P.(S) No.3692/2021 had specifically directed the Respondents to convene DPC in accordance with the rules and regulations governing the field. The said observation of this Court is quite explicit. It is always expected that Respondent Authorities as and when they initiate promotion process the same shall be strictly in accordance with the rules and regulations governing the field and by no means does the Order of this Court mean that it would be confined to Petitioners in that Writ Petition alone. The promotion process has to be in respect of those persons who fall in the zone of consideration for the said post.

Given the said observation, the present Writ Petition as of now stands disposed of reserving the right of Petitioners to approach the Court in case need arises at a later stage.
