1. The accused/applicant has moved this bail application under Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 for releasing him on regular bail during trial in connection with Crime No.117/2015, registered at Police Station: GRP Thana, Raipur, Distt. Raipur, for the offence punishable under Section 20 (b) of the Narcotic and Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985.
2. Case of the prosecution, in brief, is that 5 Kgs. of Ganja was seized by the police from the present applicant.
3. Taking into consideration the nature and gravity of offence and quantity of Ganja - 5 Kgs., I do not consider it a fit case for grant of regular bail to the applicant. The application is rejected.
