1. Challenge in this petition is to the order dated 20.06.2019 whereby the petitioner has been posted on promotion from Sub-Division, Bodla, Division Kawardha, District Kawardha to Division Dantewada, District Dantewada.

2. At the outset, this court is of the opinion that the impugned order is not infact a transfer order, but is an order whereby the petitioner has been given posting on his promotion to the post of Assistant Engineer (Civil). On promotion made, it is a natural consequence that place of posting of an employee/officer would get changed. The impugned order is also one whereby the petitioner on being promoted is being posted to a different place.

3. Under the said circumstances, this court is of the opinion that no strong case is made out by the petitioner calling for an interference with the impugned order. At this juncture, if the petitioner is not satisfied with the

-2place of posting, he has right to approach the authorities by making suitable representation for change of posting.

4. The writ petition accordingly fails and is rejected. Sd/- (P. Sam Koshy) Judge inder
