This petition has virtually become infructuous. The Petitioner was promoted as Accountant and posted in the office of Assistant Excise Commissioner, Bilaspur. Thereafter, vide the impugned order dated 18.09.2013, as a local arrangement, he was posted in the office of Deputy Commissioner, Excise Department, Flying Squad, Bilaspur Division.

The Petitioner has challenged the aforesaid order and stay was granted by this Court on 27.09.2013 in his favour. More than three years have elapsed. The Petitioner has no vested right to remain in the office of Assistant Excise Commissioner at Bilaspur. The State/Respondents are at liberty to post the Petitioner at any place according to the administrative exigency. 3.
