The MCC has been filed by the Petitioner in WPPIL No. 37 of 2017, who approached this Court projecting the public nature of the necessity for setting up an Airport at Bilaspur. It is stated that, pursuant to the various interim orders passed by this Court, the machinery was set in motion and licence was granted by the competent authority. It was recording the said position, that the writ petition was disposed off, however, without considering the specific prayers as

sought for in the writ petition but for observing that the rest would be taken care of by the Government. It is stated that nothing has transpired thereafter. 2.

On asking the learned counsel to substantiate the maintainability of this 'MCC', the learned counsel for the Petitioner seeks for permission to withdraw the same, without prejudice to rights and liberties of the Petitioner to pursue other appropriate proceedings in accordance with law. 3.
