Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was initially appointed on 22.02.2014 as Assistant Development Extension Officer in the Department of Panchayat and Rural Development and was posted in Janpad Panchayat, Lakhanpur, Distt. Surguja (C.G.). Subsequently, he was subjected to departmental enquiry and the
departmental enquiry, eventually ordered, was passed on 09.07.2019 (Annexure P/2) wherein the probation period of the petitioner was directed to be extended for a period of six months. However, despite six months have been passed, no confirmation order has been issued to the petitioner, therefore the petitioner may be given a liberty to make a representation to the Chief Executive Officer Zila Panchayat Surguja i.e. respondent No. 3 so that the confirmation order of the petitioner may be passed.

Considering the fact that since the only limited prayer has been made by the petitioner to make a representation to the respondent No. 3, it is directed that the petitioner shall make a representation before the respondent No. 3 i.e. Chief Executive Officer Zila Panchayat Surguja within a period of four weeks and if such representation is made, the same shall be decided decided within a further period of 90 days from the date of receipt of such representation.
4. With the aforesaid direction/ observation, the writ petition stands disposed off.
