1. The limited relief which the petitioner has sought for in the present writ petition is that the petitioner has preferred a departmental appeal against the order of termination dated 26.02.2019 and the appeal has till date not been decided by the respondent No.1.

2. Under the circumstances, this Court is of the opinion that no fruitful purpose would be served in keeping the petition pending, rather ends of justice would meet if the respondent No.1 is directed to decide the appeal in accordance with the Rules and Regulations governing the field at the earliest preferably within a period of 3 months from the date of receipt of the copy of this order.

-23. With the aforesaid observations, the present writ petition stands disposed off.
