2. The instant writ petition has been filed by the petitioner against the impugned order of suspension dated 04.08.2020 (Annexure P/1) though the alternative remedy is available to the petitioner under Rule 23 (III) of the C.G. Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules, 1966.

3. Since the alternative statutory remedy is available to the petitioner therefore, the petitioner may challenge the same before the appropriate authority. Therefore, in view of the availability of the alternative efficacious remedy, I am not inclined to invoke the extraordinary jurisdiction of this Court under Article 226 of the Constitution of India.
