In the Writ Appeal No.409 of 2016 on 6.9.2016 order was passed by this Court directing the competent authority to decide the pending appeal preferred by the petitioner latest by 7th October, 2016.

As the pending appeal could not be decided by the competent authority before the said date, on 6.10.2016, application was filed by the Chhattisgarh Rajya Gramin Bank seeking extension of time for deciding the said appeal. The said application was registered as M.C.C.No.811 of 2016 and on 18.11.2016 this Court has

extended the time for deciding the appeal and the competent authorities were directed to decide the pending appeal latest by 10.12.2016. However, during pendency of the said M.C.C., the appeal filed by the petitioner was decided by the competent authority on 27.10.2016 and order was also communicated to the petitioner on 25.11.2016.

Considering the fact that order dated 6.9.2016 has already been complied with by the competent authority, we are of the considered opinion that no further order is required in the present contempt petition. Same is accordingly disposed of. Rule issued is discharged.
