This petition has been filed alleging willful disobedience of order dated 16-08-2016 passed by this Court in W.P.(S)No.3779 of 2016, by which, direction was issued to consider the petitioner's claim for promotion. 3.
Learned counsel for the respondent No.3 submits that the claim of the petitioner was considered and as the petitioner was not found fit, therefore, he has not been promoted.

Learned counsel for petitioner submits that his case has not received proper consideration and without any decision, he has been superseded by his juniors.

This Court did not decide the petitioner's claim for promotion one way or the other, but only directed consideration. This having been done by the respondent, nothing survives for adjudication in this contempt petition. Rule is discharged.
