1. The present contempt petition has been filed alleging noncompliance of the order dated 30.11.2018 passed in WPS No. 7843 of 2018.

2. The respondents on notice have entered their appearance and have filed their reply, rejecting the claim of the petitioner/applicant. The rejection of the claim is on the ground that the petitioner/applicant is not in employment with the respondent for a very long time and the

-2order of reinstatement granted by the labour court also has been setaside by the High Court to the extent of granting lump-sum amount in lieu of reinstatement.

3. Given the facts, this Court is of the opinion that no contempt as such has been committed by the respondents and the respondents have since complied-with the order by deciding the claim of the petitioner/applicant.

4. The present Contempt Petition, accordingly stands disposed off, reserving the right of the petitioner/applicant to avail other remedies open to him.
