1. The grievance of the petitioner in the present writ petition is the non releasing of the compensation quantified under award passed under Land Acquisition Case No. 02/A-82 Year 2015-16 where the compensation quantified in the award is Rs. 25,53,599/- which till date has not been disbursed though the award has been passed as early as on 05.04.2017.

2. On the previous date of hearing, this Court had asked the State counsel to seek instructions. Shri Mateen Siddiqui, Dy. AG appearing for the State today submits that he has instructions from respondent

No.2 that process has already begun for compliance of the award and for payment of compensation to the petitioners if they are entitled for in accordance with law and same shall also be completed at the earliest.

3. Given the said submissions by the counsel for the State, this Court is of the opinion that writ petition itself on the said submission can be disposed of directing respondent No.3 to ensure that the award dated 05.04.2017 so far as temple is concerned is released at the earliest in accordance with law preferably within a period of 8 weeks' from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
