1. This contempt case has been filed for non-compliance of order dated 12-9-2017 passed in W.P.(C)No.2531/2017.

2. Learned counsel for the respondents, on instructions, would submit that award has already been passed on 7-10-2017 and the amount of compensation has already been determined.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the compensation is not being paid.

4. A careful perusal of the order dated 12-9-2017 would show that this Court has only directed to complete the acquisition proceedings and pass award determining the compensation

amount to be paid to the petitioner and that has been complied with. However, if the amount of compensation is not being paid, the petitioner is at liberty to proceed in accordance with law.

5. With the aforesaid observation, the contempt case stands finally closed.
