Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was suspended by order dated 09.07.2020 (Annexure P/1) and against that order of suspension, the petitioner had preferred an appeal before the Respondent No. 3 i.e. Divisional Commandant, Chhattisgarh Nagar Sena (Home Guard) Raipur Division by

Annexure P/4 on 16.07.2020. The only limited prayer of the petitioner in the present petition is that since the considerable time period has been passed, the appeal of the petitioner may be considered and decided in accordance with law.

3. Taking into consideration the submission made and after perusal of the Annexure P/4 dated 16.07.2020 that the petitioner has already preferred the appeal before the higher authority, the respondent No. 3 i.e. Divisional Commandant, Chhattisgarh Nagar Sena (Home Guard) is directed to decide the appeal of the petitioner within a period of 45 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

4. With the above direction/ observation, the writ petition stands disposed off.
