1. The only relief which the petitioner has sought for in the present Writ Petition is for a direction to the Respondents to firstly consider the application that the petitioner has filed for the post of Secretary at Jila Panchayat, Surajpur, District: Surajpur, (C.G.).

2. According to the petitioner, the advertisement was issued on 17.09.2018, the last date for submission of application was initially fixed at 27.09.2018. Subsequently, the respondents have extended

-2the last date of submission of application form uptill 15.10.2018. The petitioner had applied through Speed Post on 27.09.2018.

3. According to the petitioner, his application was received by the Department on the same date but the respondents did not scrutinize the application. Subsequently, the objections were called in by the Department on 07.03.2019 in respect of the list published by the Department. The petitioner, immediately on 15.03.2019 has submitted his objection but till date, the objection has not been decided and the respondents, particularly Respondent No. 02 is proceeding with the recruitment process.

Given the said facts, that the petitioner has applied on 27.09.2018 and his application was received by the Department on the same date and further that the last date of submission of application having been extended by the Department up-till 15.10.2018. Prima facie, it appears that, the petitioner has made out a case, that his application be scrutinized by the Department. However, since the list has been published, let the Respondent No. 02 consider the objection, that the petitioner had filed on 15.03.2019 which is pending consideration till date.

5. It is expected that the Respondent No. 02 shall decide the said application positively within a period of 30 days from the date of receipt of copy of this Order passed by this Court. It is also expected that the Respondent No. 02 shall not finalize the recruitment process before deciding the objection of the petitioner.

-36. It shall be the responsibility of the petitioner to apprise the Respondent No. 2, so far as the Order passed by this Court is concerned.

7. With the aforesaid observations, the Writ Petition stands disposed off.
