The Petitioner's grievance is that even the Petitioner had submitted her option for being absorbed in the Medical Education service pursuant to memo dated 3.4.2007 (Annexure P-2), even after more than 3 years the matter has remained pending resulting in uncertainty in service. 2.

After going through the contents of the present writ petition and the documents annexed thereto, it is revealed that the Petitioner substantially belongs to the Department of Health Services. On account of opening of Medical College at Jagdalpur in order to cater to the need of staff, the staff of District Hospital were placed at the disposal of a Medical College. Later on, in order to provide permanent staff to the Medical College, option of such employees including the Petitioner, who were placed at the disposal of the Medical College, was obtained. The Petitioner submitted her option long back,

-2but till date no decision has been taken. Such situation needs to be avoided. The Petitioner has given an option long back. Therefore, the Respondents should decide the Petitioner's case of absorption according to their own scheme of absorption and the need of staff in the Medical College at Jagdalpur.

The decision in this regard should be taken within an outer limit of three months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. 4.
