1. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that though petitioner is senior to one Mr. P.R. Arya but he has not been given higher pay scale and the pay anomaly has continued even after retirement, for which the petitioner has already made representation on 27/11/2010 (Annexure P/1) and 07/04/2012 (Annexure P/2), but it has not been considered and decided.

2. Learned senior counsel appearing for the respondents would submit that representations made by the petitioner (if any) will be considered in accordance with law.

3. I have heard learned counsel for the parties at length.

4. Considering the submissions made by learned counsel for the parties and since the petitioner has already made two representations vide Annexure P/1 and P/2 for removal of pay anomaly, respondents are directed to consider and decide petitioner's representations in accordance with law within six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order by passing a reasoned and speaking order. Petitioner is at liberty to make additional submission within three weeks from today. It is made clear that this Court has not

expressed any opinion on the merits of the matter.

5. Accordingly, this writ petition stands disposed of. No cost(s).
